"This morning, I woke up Feeling brand new and I jumped up Feeling my highs, and my lows
In my soul, and my goals"
Ok so maybe I was a little tired and didn't really want to get out of bed cause it was calling out to me everytime I sat up and tried to make myself head to the shower. But I am feeling brand new of late. I am in a good place in my life overall...and even though thing aren't 100% they are getting there. I haven't posted here in a bit because I have been to busy living life to write about it and I also wasn't so sure that I wanted to share everything that was going on with my blog family. But then I thought why censure myself? So I am back!
What's been up with Oyo you ask? Well I have been seeing two really great guys...that constantly has me wondering what I did to get so lucky? I can see a future with either one...but 2 very different futures. Is one of them "the one"? is there someone else out there for me? when do you know? how do you know?
I put 8 lbs back on and need to drop them ASAP because I have just gotten confirmation that Barbados for crop over is a GO! I was supposed to go to Senegal with a friend but have come to the realization that it is just not gonna happen. For the price of the ticket $1600, i can do Barbados now and Senegal in december for New Years. So that is the game plan as of today. I know my friend is probably a bit upset but I hate to go on vacation thinking about the price of everything and that is what the deal would be if I went to Senegal this summer....
My son is in Senegal right now, spending his second summer in the Motherland! I swear that kid has more stamps in his passport than me & his Dad!
Summer in NYC is in full swing I did Celebrate Brooklyn with Barrington Levy on Friday....camped in westchester on saturday, layed out in ft. greene park on Sunday drinking red wine and listening to the sounds of soul summit, and Monday headed out to Wingate park for Angie Stone & Anthony Hamilton...How much did this all cost you ask? FREE FREE FREE...damn I love getting by in the People's Republic of Brooklyn!
