Happy 2007

What were you doing as 2006 slipped into 2007? I was standing in Prospect Park watching the fireworks with my 10 year old son. I decided early on in the week that I was going to bring in the New Year with him as opposed to dropping him off and partying somewhere. I fought temptation all week long. First I got an invite to party in DC, then I got an invite to a party at a friend of a friend's new loft in Soho. I fought the urge to pick up a party dress as I was passing thru Banana Republic on New Years Eve.

I know my son had a blast that I spent the evening with him! I felt good spending quality time with him. 2007 is off to a good start!
