Official 1 Week count down

My move date is Feb 23rd....I am excited and nervous all at the same time.

V- Day 2008

Ok what has my love life looked like since last V-day ? I am totally drawing a blank....did I date at all this year? Oh yeah...

There was the Haitian Lover who claimed he loved me after 2 dates. He was a great lay, and fun to be around but he worked about 20 hours a day!

There was Something New.... went out on about 3 or 4 dates but I didnt really see a future with him.

There was Mr. Perfect Teeth... he is hard to explain... but he has an amazing smile!

And then there was/is Replay...not sure we are gonna make it cause he Still has control issues that dont mesh well with my own control issues.

I am spent...

I am tired and I just want this process to be over...it is mentally, physically and financially draining. I wanna wake up tomorrow and be all moved in the new placed!

I expect to close next week....

So I have been dropping hints to my lawyer for the past 2 weeks that a 2/14 closing would be an amazing Valentine's Day gift. Yesterday she finally told me that we maybe able to pull it off. So based on that I set my move date for 2/23/08.  So I am officially on a 2 week count down to move date. I have so much to do....I need to make a to do list to make sure I get everything done.

I know you guys have probably heard it so many times already.... but I am truly moved and excited by the potential to really have change. I have finally had my glass of the Obama Kool-Aid.

I just came from letting my son cast my ballot in NYC Primary, with the Audacity to Hope that one day he will be able to tell his grandkids...." I cast a ballot that year even though I was only 11, I cast the ballot on the eve before the dawn of change. I made history that day Feb.5th 2008!"
